About TNM Art Guide

Founded in 1872, the Tokyo National Museum is the oldest museum in Japan. It is also one of Japan’s largest museums, with about 120,000 items in its collection, of which 3,000 are always on display. The TNM Art Guide introduces several works on display in Regular Exhibitions today.
